A Stake Horse Named Death is an American heavy metal band from Brooklyn, New York. The ring was formed in 2010 by Sal Abruscato (a one-time drummer for Type O Negative and Life of Agony) and produced/engineered by Matt Dark-brown of Seventh Void and Uranium 235. The band has released four studio albums to appointment – And Hell Will Follow Me (2011), Lay My Soul to Waste (2013), When the Earth Becomes Undone (2019) and Infernum in Terra (2021).

And Hell Volition Follow Me (2011–2012) [edit]
A Pale Horse Named Expiry was formed in Brooklyn, New York by Sal Abruscato.[1] Critique went with the June release of their album And Hell Volition Follow Me. Abruscato's partner on the album is Matt Brownish, sound engineer and onetime guitarist of Seventh Void. "The chemical science between me and Matt is unique and flawless; very rare in today'south music. Nosotros are the murdering evil version of Lennon and McCartney," says Abruscato. Brown adds, "Sal asked me if I would assist to take these songs to the next level. I took on this project for my friend, to notice some closure in rough times. On January 21, 2013, Lay My Soul to Waste product was announced. It was released in N America on May 21, 2013[four] [5] and in Deutschland, Switzerland, and Austria on May 23, 2013. Its European release was May 24, 2013.[four]

When the World Becomes Undone (2017–2019) [edit]
On December 23, 2017, a new album was appear on the band's Twitter folio. Musical manner [edit]
A Pale Horse Named Death has been described as gothic metallic[1] [12] [xiii] and doom metal.[one] AllMusic described the band as a combination of gothic metal and post-grunge.[14] In his review of And Hell Will Follow Me, AllMusic critic Alex Henderson described A Pale Horse Named Death's music as alternative metal with elements of doom metal, gothic metallic, grunge, and stoner rock.[15] He compared the album to Type O Negative, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Black Sabbath, and Metallica'south Load album. Due to Sal Abruscato'south singing voice being similar to the singing voice of deceased Alice in Chains vocaliser Layne Staley, A Pale Equus caballus Named Death, along with being compared to Type O Negative, also has been compared to Alice in Chains.[16]
